I recently completed an incredible trekking adventure in Nepal through the Everest Base Camp route, crossing the stunning Cho La Pass and visiting the serene Gokyo Lakes. This was a challenging yet rewarding journey, and it wouldn’t have been the same without my amazing guide Jiban and porter Ashok. Jiban was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. He always made sure I was safe, comfortable, and well-informed about the trail and local culture. His calm and supportive presence helped me get through some of the toughest parts of the trek. Ashok, my porter, was equally amazing. He was always smiling, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist me throughout the journey. I truly appreciate his strength and kindness. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking—snow-capped peaks, glacial lakes, and peaceful Sherpa villages. Crossing Cho La Pass was a highlight for me, even though it was tough, and the Gokyo region was like something out of a dream. I highly recommend this trek for adventurous souls and definitely suggest asking for Jiban and Ashok if you want a smooth, well-supported experience. Thank you both for making this trip one I’ll never forget!

From the start, they showed professionalism, deep knowledge of the route, and a genuine commitment to making our trek smooth and enjoyable. Mun was exceptionally attentive to our needs, adapting to my mum's slower pace while ensuring I could complete the full base camp trek. Their flexibility in splitting our routes allowed both of us to have a fulfilling and safe journey. Mun also navigated the challenges of peak season, managing shifting bookings and securing accommodations to keep our trek on track. Raju, our porter, was equally fantastic—always helpful, kind, and ensuring our bags were well-handled throughout. Their teamwork, patience, and dedication made all the difference. We booked our Himalaya trek with Nepal Planet Treks and Expeditions directly via Sanjib, the owner of the company. The communication with Sanjib was very rapid and good. We unfortunately had to cancel our first planned trip due to personal circumstances, but when we rescheduled 6months later it was no problem to reuse our pre payment. We asked for a less crowded trail and they planned a route for us to Gokyo valley, which was perfect. The roads were not crowded and the lodges where we slept were good. All in all a trustworthy and honest company, would recommend!

I contacted Sanjib at Nepal Planet via their web page to arrange a Guide/Porter to accompany me on a 30 day Everest Base Camp trek starting from Jiri. Sanjib made all arrangements including meeting me at Tribhuvan Airport, providing me with Picas as my Guide / Porter, providing a suitable large bag for Picas to carry and arranging transport by public bus to the trailhead. All these services were provided efficiently and the I was happy to retain Picas as my Guide / Porter for a second Trek in the Langtang region.
