The Everest Panorama Views Trek is a shorter, less strenuous alternative to the classic Everest Base Camp Trek, offering breathtaking views of the world’s highest peaks without requiring extensive time or physical endurance. This trek is ideal for those with limited time, beginners, or families who want to experience the beauty of the Everest region without committing to a longer, more challenging journey. The trek typically begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a small mountain airstrip that serves as the gateway to the Everest region. From Lukla, the trail passes through picturesque Sherpa villages, lush forests, and suspension bridges draped with prayer flags. The route follows the Dudh Koshi River, gradually ascending through Namche Bazaar, the bustling trading hub of the Khumbu region. Namche is a great place to acclimatize and explore Sherpa culture, with its vibrant markets, monasteries, and museums. The highlight of the Everest Panorama Trek is the stunning views of iconic peaks like Everest (8,848m), Lhotse (8,516m), Nuptse (7,861m), Ama Dablam (6,812m), and Thamserku (6,623m). The trail continues to Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest in the region. The monastery offers a spiritual retreat and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, making it a perfect spot for reflection and photography. This trek usually takes about 7-9 days, making it accessible for those with limited time. It reaches a maximum altitude of around 3,860 meters at Tengboche, reducing the risk of altitude sickness compared to higher-altitude treks. The Everest Panorama Trek is a perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural immersion, and moderate adventure, offering a glimpse into the majestic Himalayas without the demands of a longer expedition. Overall, the Everest Panorama Views Trek is a rewarding experience for anyone seeking to witness the grandeur of the Everest region in a shorter, more manageable timeframe. It’s a journey that combines awe-inspiring landscapes, rich Sherpa culture, and the thrill of trekking in the world’s most famous mountain range.

We’re still dreaming of the Himalaya after our amazing 12-day trek with Nepal Planet! We trekked from Lukla to Gokyo Lakes, then went to Everest Base Camp (EBC) via Cho La Pass. This trip was our first time in Nepal. My partner (from South America) and I (from the US) have traveled a lot, including over a dozen trips to India for me, and we have a lot of experience in the mountains, so we were originally considering trekking without a guide. After reading many stories online about the importance of a guide and guiding culture in Nepal, recognizing we were trying to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time, and receiving an encouraging recommendation of Nepal Planet from a good friend, we decided to book our trip with Nepal Planet. And we’re extremely glad we made the decision to trek with Nepal Planet. From accommodating our hotel requests with flexibility and graciousness, to greeting us at the airport with open arms and smiles, to taking care of us while trekking above 5,500 meters and traversing ice falls, to explaining different aspects of our surroundings and Nepali culture, to sharing many laughs and stories over food and drinks—the team at Nepal Planet helped us create an unforgettable memory and build a deep relationship with a place and people that we hope to return to many more times in our lives. The team has the experience, knowledge, and relationships to make for a hassle-free, remarkable trip; for example, they called ahead to reserve nice lodges with tasty food, kept us on trails that were sometimes difficult to find, and adjusted our flight itinerary on the fly. A special thanks to our incredibly considerate, knowledgeable, and personable guide, Mun, and Sanjib and NJ for supporting our amazing journey from the day we started planning to the day we left the country. Going trekking with Nepal Planet feels like going trekking with your long-lost Nepali family. We strongly recommend trekking with Nepal Planet; they really enhanced our experience. We’ll be back!

I can’t thank Sanjib and Raj enough for making our trip to EBC one of the most amazing and memorable experiences I’ve ever had. Sanjib and I had been communicated for nearly a year before our trip and was world-class in helping plan out every detail of our trip and was happy to accommodate all the changes along the way. Upon arrival in KTM, Sanjib and his brother waited for us at the airport while we dealt with the delays at customs and greeted us with open arms and transport to our hotel where we caught up, chatted and discussed our plan for our EBC trip with Sanjib and our guide, Raj. Sanjib took care of every detail from hotels, flights and transport and making us feel at home during our trip. Our 11 days to base camp were incredible and our guide was amazing teaching us about life in Nepal, the mountains and making sure we were well equipped to take on the challenge. We also enjoyed our time in KTM with Sanjib learning about Nepalese culture first hand from him and his family and he also helped arrange any of our requests within the city. Our trip also included a side trip to Chitwan NP and Nagarkot which Sanjib helped arrange and personally helped us travel between each place. I will 100% rely on him again for our next trip to the Himalayas and can’t wait to return! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sanjib and his team have been very accommodating since the day we start to inquire about the trip. We did the EBC trek from 28th Oct to 8th Nov 2018. It was completely hassle-free for us the moment we arrive at Kathmandu airport, Sanjib greeted us with our guide for the trek Raj at the airport and brought us around for sourcing the equipment. Raj had been very helpful guide indeed along the trail, we were definitely well taken care of during the trail. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend NPT to anyone that wants to do the trail in Nepal. Will definitely return again to this beautiful country!
