Words cannot describe how incredible my experience was in Nepal. My first abroad trip, and I couldn't be happier with how it went, all thanks to Sanjib (host) and Om (trek guide) from Nepal Planet Treks and Expeditions. Sanjib was a wonderful host, welcoming us to Nepal as soon as we arrived at the airport as well as sending us off when the time came to head home. The professionalism displayed by the organization is an aspect I am so thankful to have had while in an unknown country. They handled everything wonderfully, from setting us up with nice dinners in the city to ensuring we had a bed reserved every night while trekking. Om knew all the locals, and consistently managed to get our food priority which was big after a long hike and a few dozen people are waiting in the dining room. One member of my team got sick, and our guide and porter (Kul) handled the situation extremely well, going above and beyond to accommodate our wants and needs. I can't wait to return to Nepal, and will surely use Nepal Planet Treks and Expeditions when I do!

I return safely from the Ghorepani trek after an awe inspiring, exhilarating, life affirming experience, with the Nepal Planet Treks and Expedition team. From my first email to Sanjib (managing director) months before the trek to the last goodbye, I received the most professional & personal attention from Sanjib himself and his team. This trek was a lifetime dream and I wanted it to be customised for me as a solo trekker. Sanjib exceeded my expectations and provided me an excellent guide in Resham and porter Jeevan. He personally attended to every aspect of this trek to make sure everything went smoothly. The team showed patience and support & good humour. They consulted with me every step of the way, showed me great respect, and gently encouraged me when needed. What really makes a difference is that Sanjib started off as a porter, then after about 4 years did his training to obtain his guide certification whilst teaching himself English. After 5 years of guiding, he became managing director of NPTE. Resham also started as a porter, then after about 4 years obtained his guide certification. Thank you Sanjib, Resham & Jeevan for an experience of a lifetime. I highly recommend NPTE.
