This is my third time to go trekking in Nepal. I am so lucky to have an experienced and responsible guide, NJ. NJ was introduced by my friend for my first trekking in 2009 and NJ, his family and I have become friends since then. NJ would take care of everything during the trekking journey, including recommending a suitable routing, arranging nicer accommodations, food as well as pairing a good porter for the trip. I am more than happy to go trekking with my friend and my guide, NJ again in the near future. I have no hesitation to recommend NJ to my friends as he is a reliable and professional guide.

I did the 13 Days ABC Trekking + Poon Hill with Nepal Planet Treks on 5-17 Apr 2018. Sanjib has been super fast in replying my emails from the very beginning . I had quite a last minute arrangement - less than a month but everything made possible by Sanjib and his team. I had a little brother during the trip - Jiban :-) who was my Guide and Porter and what a super hero he was !! He managed my heavy backpack, my moods, slow walking , frequent rest stops and of course my highly inquisitive mind - like a pro - despite his young age. Bravo Jiban ! You will go far in life if you keep up the positive attitude! Despite the last minute arrangement during this period which turned out to be a peak season as most guesthouses were booked up by big groups, Jiban managed to 'sweet talk' his way and get our accommodation sorted out in the end. Otherwise I would have never made it to ABC! And Sanjib has been giving me a first class personalized treatment when we met in Kathmandu. Even though I traveled solo, having Sanjib and Jiban around - you will never be alone. Thank you so very much for arranging one of the best trip Ive had so far! Definitely will travel with you again when Im back in Nepal hopefully soon!

“Nobody know” this is Kumar always said to me during trek. Yes, that’s right! Nobody know what will be happen during trekking. Kumar was my guide/cum porter but he was more than that, he also was my brother and my friend in my solo trek. Well This was my first time solo trekking in nepal. I had concluded 14 days trip in nepal, everything..every time organized by Kumar, he is a good man and very well organized trekking trip. He is very experienced and he knews everyone during trek, Yes..everyone! Haha! Kumar always said to me “You can do it!” Finally I could finished to Thorong La Pass. We had a little celebrated on the last night in Jomsom, We drank some beer, local apple wine and many talking. However I would like to remind to you when you trekking in nepal that.. Don’t trust owner hotels when he/she say that “Electric is coming” LOL ^^ If you would like a trekking trip in nepal, don’t hesitate to contact Nepal Planet Treks and I would to recommended Kumar for any trek in Nepal.

This company had exceeded all of our expectations! They are the most caring, knowledgable, and accommodating hosts... The lodging, all the transfers they provided for me and my two teenagers were superb! Guide Raj and the porter Ganish were very helpful, friendly, and made our trekking to Annapurna Base Camp the most memorable and enjoyable experience... What a find! We highly recommend them for hiring for all your NEPAL adventures!

Wir (55 und 60 Jahre aus dem schönen Chiemgau in Oberbayern) waren das erste Mal in Nepal und hatten zum Einstieg die 10tägige Ghorepani-Poonhill-Tour mit Sightseeing in Kathmandu als Privattour gewählt. Sanjib Adhikari von Nepal Planet Treks begleitete uns als kompetenter, zuverlässiger und gut vernetzter Guide, Kumar Adhikari als erfahrener und humorvoller Porter. Die blühenden Rhododendrenwälder auf unserem Trek Ende März / Anfang April waren wunderbar! Das Wetter spielte leider nicht so ganz mit: Das fantastische Bergpanorama war oft von Dunst und Gewitterwolken umwölkt. Das hektische und laute Kathmandu ist fast nur mit Atemschutz (Staub/Smog) zu genießen und als Abschlußverlängerung in einem ruhigen Hotel mit Garten. Pokhara war uns ebenfalls einen Extratag wert. Alles in allem hat uns die Tour sehr gut gefallen! Gerne wieder für eine längere Tour!
