My partner and I hiked Mardi Himal in April 2024. Our entire trip was planned by Sanjib from our arrival to Kathmandu airport to our departure. We couldn’t be happier! Everything was smooth and enjoyable. Both hotels booked for us in Kathmandu and Pokhara had nice rooms, nice breakfast and excellent locations. During the hike, we were also booked in nice tea houses where we could comfortably rest and recharge. Sanjib picked us up from the airport and the following day accompanied us to rent and buy items we needed for the trek. Our guide and porter during the trek were awesome and took great care of us. This was our first time visiting Nepal and we can’t wait to be back. We highly recommend entrusting Sanjib with your Nepal trip planning! I knew I had picked the right person when in the planning phase I asked if we were going to see tigers for sure should we include Chitwan in our itinerary and he responded: ‘I can guarantee the tiger will see you but I don’t know about you seeing the tiger!’ 😂😂😂 Thank you Sanjib, Jiban and Ganesur! We had a wonderful experience with Nepal Planet Treks and Expedition as a private tour group to EBC. It was value for money. Our porters were amazing and hardworking, always ensuring our bags are delivered on time. Our guide Raj took care of our daily needs, patiently waiting when we run late and making sure we are well fed. Upon request, he also booked accomodations with private toilets/showers when available. Sanjib was responsive remotely and aid us with most questions and documentations required. The only advice if you’re going with this tour is to bring your own oximeter that would be helpful at altitude. We had a great time and would recommend Nepal Planet Treks and Expedition!

His expertise and encouraging nature played a crucial role in navigating the challenges of the trek. The journey itself, while demanding in terms of length and mental stamina, was immensely rewarding. The breathtaking views of the Himalayan landscape were well worth the effort. Each step brought a new, stunning vista that surpassed the last, making the physical exertion all the more worthwhile. Trekking with Nepal Planet Treks and Expedition P. Ltd was a seamless experience. The professionalism and warmth of everyone involved made a significant difference. I felt supported and valued as a trekker, which enhanced the overall experience. For anyone considering this trek, I cannot recommend Niraj and Nepal Planet Treks enough. It’s not just about seeing the mountains—it’s about the journey, the camaraderie, and the lifelong memories you will create.

Amazing trip! Sanjib picked us up from the airport and have everything secured for us until we began our journey with Niraj (Nir) to Lo Manthang, Upper Mustang. Nir was an awesome guide as our group were first-time trekkers. He carried fruit for us the whole way, preparing a plate each night for us to snack on. The views along the way were unimaginable. As we got to our final destination in Upper Mustang, we were exhausted from the altitude, and Nir coordinated a jeep to transport us back to Jomsom. Both Nir and Sanjib always seemed to be looking out for us, and excited for us to have a successful trip. Food was great, the teahouses were comfortable, and the conversations with people we met along the way were the highlight of the trip! The only negative I have is that we were unable to go see the border. It said on our itinerary that we would be able to take a pony ride to the Tibetan border with Nepal, but when it came time, some laws had changed and we were unable to visit. *SUGGESTIONS: bring a face covering for the dust, and extra cash for water/snacks/and other drinks at the tea houses

Thanks to Jiban for an unforgettable experience!!!!! We booked to do the 9 day Annapurna Base Camp Trek through Nepal Planet Treks and did not regret it one bit. The trek was absolutely beautiful and was a perfect first Himalayas hiking experience. We could not fault Jiban at all for his knowledge of the mountains, his friendly and upbeat personality, his professional photography and for dealing with us for 9 days in a row :) If anyone wants to do a trek in Nepal, I would not hesitate to reccomend they book with Jiban!
