10 days  Jomsom/Muktinath adventure with pilgrim trekking tour  Annapurna region. It is for centuries, the ancient temple of Muktinath has been a pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists alike. Inside of the temple, a sacred blue flame has burned non-stop for centuries. It features 108 water taps that spring forth water from its sacred source.

There are actually several temples here. There is a Buddhist stupa, plus Hindu Temples dedicated to Vishnu and Jwalamai, the goddess of fire.

The trek is more than just Buddhist lamas and Hindu Sadhus. It is an opportunity to explore the incredible Annapurna Mountain Range. It is home of Annapurna I, the 10th highest mountain in the world. The peaks of the Annapurna Range feature many snowcapped peaks that literally touch the cobalt blue skies. The panoramic views from the trail will never cease to amaze you as you look toward the heavens.

Their region is home of the Gurung people whose members made up a large share of the famed Gurkha soldiers of the British and Indian armies. There are quaint villages and forests of oak, pine, and rhododendron.

This trip begins and ends in Kathmandu. It features a day of sightseeing in Kathmandu of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites at the beginning of the trek. Travel by first-class luxury bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara, enjoying the beauty of the Trisuli River canyon with its waterfalls and rapids.

An actual number of days trekking is only four. Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom to start the trek, and then on the 8th day, return to Jomsom to fly back to Pokhara, where you will have an opportunity to explore this beautiful lakeside city.

Day by Day Itinerary

This is  full days sight seeing in Kathmandu valley.  Kathmandu is the historical and Cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to Visitors, the city presents a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and western influence.    There will be  guided tour to the  Big  holy temple of Hindus- Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. And, you can see several monkeys and go in the region of cremation site of a human dead body. Also, you will visit Swayambhunath which is also recognized as monkey temple. This Buddhist memorial is located in a hillock and is around 2000 years old. You will in addition visit   Boudhanath which was put up around 7th century and is identified as Khasti. It is one of the largest Stupa in the world. Some other pleasing destinations of Kathmandu Durbar Square enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage List which will captivate you are the temple of living goddess, Nau talle Durbar, Swait Bhairav, Kaal Bhairav etc.

Start your travel early in the morning at 7:00 am kathmandu to  Pokhara; we will  go via  tourist coach at river side seat to enjoy the scenery; the road follows by Trisuli River where you see many people rafting on the river. Around 6/7 hours (200km) drive we reach Pokhara (a city of Lake, literally); or 30 min. fly to Pokhara as per departure time. A city that offers us the magnificent view of various mountains namely Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchre and other mountain of Annapurna range. You have good chance to do some last minute shopping and self exploration around the town, walk around few lake, boating etc.(Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)

Early morning fly  Pokhara to  Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni Village ( 3300m): 4 hours
After land to in Jomsoom and trek on a trail that clings to a valley. We ascend gradually on a ridge and reach Jomsom Village. From here we trek to the north towards Kagbeni, up the Kali Gandaki River which is the deepest gorge in the world. It gets windy after walking a while so it’s important to walk carefully at a steady pace. We pass through Eklebhatti village and continue towards Kagbeni. From Kagbeni, we get great views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri and Tukuche peaks. Overnight in Kagbeni.

The trail climbs steeply above Kagbeni to the plateaus and then more gradually to another ancient town of Jharkot. From Jharkot, it is 45 mints climb to Muktinath. From the altitude of Muktinath, one will be overlooking at Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri Ranges and  over night  Muktinath.

After best breakfast and Our journey starts with a special permit check and then on wards to the river bank of kaligandaki up stream. During the walk to Muktinath we will have scenic charming place to stop by and admire from kagbeni the path climbs steely to rejoin the direct trail leading to Khagar at 3200m. the way to climbs through a desert landscape until jarkot village. A further climb reaches to muktinath and over night Muktinath.

Muktinath is one of the important of the pilgrimage for the Buddhist and Hindu people’s belief as these two religions are intricately woven together in Nepal. Early morning we can visit the  both temple and monasteries  surrounding area and back to Hotel  and rest few hour and  after lunch walk other nearby Village, from there you cans see a lot snow cover Himalayas renege  with of the amazing views  and  feeling as adventure life and over night in Muktinath Village.

Today’s is easy way to continue down for an early tow hour and then walk to along a flat path till reaches the Jomsom village. Between the walk lies eklebhatti village where you find tea houses  for rest and lunch and  continues  walk to   Jomsom and  overnight in the Jomsom.

During the flights in the morning, the skies look very clear which allows you to enjoy splendid views of different mountain peaks. Stay over night at hotel in Pokhara.

You have breakfast being of the early morning. Then drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by private vehicle, which takes about six hours.  during the  Journey you could enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to capital city.

Today is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. Physical Condition & Experience Requirements

Fitness is wealth. Last healthful we would have the ability to finish the journey (trek and tour) with none trouble. So, preparation must be completed months ago. Like for Kailas journey we would be heading to over 5620 meter pass. So, for this experience we should be organized from around 3 months in advance.Like we would need to walk every day. Do normal workout which maintains us healthy at the same time as we are at discipline.Enjoy is different essential factor.We have to hike to hill. We should sluggish down our pace. It is right to be blanketed from the wind, rain.Like we should wear down jackets with layers to get protected.
