It is now possible to trek to Everest Base Camp without taking a flight. One can fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and then trek to the base camp, which takes more than five days. Alternatively, they can also drive by jeep or bus from Kathmandu to Salleri or Phaplu Village, which is recognized as the starting point for the Everest Base Camp trek in the Solu Khumbu district.

We offer a guaranteed trek to Everest Base Camp via the Phaplu-Salleri route, a safer and more scenic option. The trek can start and end in Salleri Village, and you can enjoy a traditional trail. This is a preferable option to flying to Lukla, as there are no time or weather constraints. You can undertake this trek in any season, be it monsoon or winter. It is one of the best routes for those exploring the Everest region, including Gokyo treks, Three Passes, Island Peak, or only Namche panorama treks, views hotels, etc. We provide various transportation options for your adventure, such as Jeep rides or buses.

Day by Day Itinerary

We will pick you up at Kathmandu International Airport, and we will provide transportation to our hotel. The check-in process will be smooth, and we’ll give you an overview of our program and the local area, including Thamel. It is a popular tourist attraction where our hotel is located. You can enjoy dinner and spend the night in Kathmandu.

Consider taking an early morning bus or Jeep ride at around 4:30 or 5 a.m. before breakfast. The journey will last for 8-9 hours and will cover the exciting highway roads located in the eastern part of Kathmandu Valley. On the way, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful mountain panorama and charming landscape. Breakfast and lunch stops are included in the itinerary, with dinner being served at Sallari village, where you will also spend the night.

After having breakfast, we will start our trek to pass the Phaplu airport. Then we will continue towards the pine forest until we reach Ringmo village. This village is a mixed settlement of Sherpas and Rai, and it is famous for its apple farms. We will then climb uphill for about 40 minutes to reach Taksindo Hill. From this point, you can observe the beautiful Himalayan range and Mt. Everest. After admiring the view, we will pass downhill through the dense forest and reach Nunthala village. We will spend the night there.

After having breakfast, we will start our journey by walking downhill to the Dudh Koshi Khola. We will cross the beautiful terraced fields of the local Rai house while enjoying the wonderful scenery. Our trek will continue uphill, and we will pass through Jubing, a Rai village. As we walk further, we will reach one of the biggest villages in the area, Khairkhola. Finally, after an hour of uphill walking, we will arrive at Bupsa Dada village where we will be staying overnight.

After having breakfast, we will embark on a walk uphill through a pine forest. Along the way, you might be lucky enough to spot some monkeys and Himalayan birds. As we continue, the trail will level off into a mountain flat, taking us past Paiya village before finally arriving at Surke village located at the base of Lukla airport. You have the option of either spending the night in Surke village or continuing your journey for another 30 minutes to reach Chauri Kharaka Village.

After having breakfast, we will begin our trek towards Phakding Village. During the trek, we will cross the Dudh Koshi River, the Churai Kharak Village, and come across several Buddhist monuments and prayer flags. We will also pass by some village chortens before finally reaching Ghat Village and then Phakding Village, where we will spend the night.

After having breakfast, we will trek along the banks of Dudh Kosi River. We will cross the river several times on exciting suspension bridges with views of prayer flags. Then, we will climb the steep trail of Sagarmatha National Park and enjoy breathtaking views. Finally, we will reach Namche Bazaar, which is famously known as the gateway to Everest treks. We will spend the night there..

In the morning, we will have a delicious breakfast before embarking on a scenic hike up to the Everest View Hotel. From there, we will continue our trek to the charming Khumjung village, which is situated in the heart of the Khumbu region. Along the way, we will enjoy breathtaking mountain views and immerse ourselves in the local culture.

Once we arrive in Khumjung village, we will stop for a relaxing lunch and take some time to explore the area. This traditional Sherpa village is home to a beautiful monastery as well as a school that was founded by Sir Edmund Hillary.

After lunch, we will make our way back to Namche Bazaar, where we will have the rest of the day to ourselves. You can choose to engage in leisurely activities, such as strolling through the vibrant marketplaces or relaxing at a cozy cafe. In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner before retiring for the night in our comfortable accommodations in Namche Bazaar.

After having breakfast and departing for Tangboche, we will begin our trek uphill through some amazing forest trails. We will trek slowly upwards for a good half-day, until we eventually reach the Tengboche Monastery. Once we arrive, we will check-in at the guesthouse, and the rest of the evening will be free for us to explore the monastery or simply enjoy the stunning views. Later, we will have dinner and spend the night in Tengboche.

Breakfast and departure to Dingboche Village ,Today we start heading downwards to Deboche. After we head gradually up towards Pangboche village, continuing on, we reach Dingboche Guesthouse check-in. Dinner and overnight stay at Dingboche

Today marks the second acclimatization day of our trek. After having a hearty breakfast, we will begin our hike up to the Nagarjuna Peak. This will help us adjust to the high altitude and prepare us for the strenuous trek ahead. We will then make our way back down to Dingboche, where we will have the rest of the day to ourselves. You can choose to take it easy and relax, or explore the surrounding areas of Dingboche. Later in the evening, we will gather for dinner and spend the night in Dingboche.

After having breakfast and departing to Luboche village, we continue heading north on flat and gradual ascending trails until we reach Thukla village. From there, we continue further until we arrive at the Lobuche Guesthouse where we check-in. Dinner and overnight stay in Lobuche.

Today’s itinerary involves an exciting trek from our current location to Gorakshep. After a hearty breakfast and checking out from our current guesthouse, we will embark on a journey that will take us through rocky terrain and scenic landscapes. The trek is estimated to take approximately 3 hours, and along the way, we will be able to take in breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range.

Once we reach Gorakshep, we will get settled into our guesthouse and enjoy a delicious lunch. Afterward, we will head to Everest Base Camp, which is the ultimate destination of our trek. This part of the journey will be an incredible adventure as we will be walking on the same path that mountaineers take to climb the world’s highest peak. Once we reach the base camp, we will have plenty of time to take photos of the magnificent surroundings and bask in the glory of our accomplishment.

After experiencing the magic of Everest Base Camp, we will head back to Gorakshep for dinner and an overnight stay. This will give us a chance to rest and reflect on our incredible journey so far. Throughout the day, we will be accompanied by our experienced guide, who will ensure our safety and provide us with insights into the local culture and geography.

We will start our day with an early wake-up call at 4:30 am to begin our hike up to Kalapatthar. The trek offers an amazing sunrise view of Mt. Everest and the Himalayan range. Once we reach the top, we will head back to Gorakshep for breakfast before departing. We will follow the same path back towards Pheriche, which will be a long day’s walk. We will check into a guesthouse for dinner and overnight stay in Pheriche once we arrive. After reaching the summit of Kalapatthar, which is about 1500 meters, the trek continues down to Pheriche Village.

After having breakfast and departing from our current location, we will continue on a familiar trail until we reach Namche Bazaar. Upon arrival, we will check-in at a guesthouse for dinner and an overnight stay. On the last day of our trekking adventure, it would be a great idea to explore the market and purchase some souvenirs while enjoying the beautiful views. We will spend the night in Namche Bazaar before departing the next day.

After having breakfast and packing up, we return to Surke Village. We will take in the breathtaking views on the way and check in at the guesthouse. After dinner, we will spend the night in Surke Village.

After breakfast,  we are again walking uphill to Paiyo Village, passing through a pine forest with rhododendron trees, and downhill to Buspa village, then again more deeply downhill to the Khari River and crossing the iron bridge to reach KhaiKhola Village. overnight in Khairkhola village.

After breakfast, walk downhill to Jubhing village. Cross the Dudh Koshi river and climb uphill to Nunthala village. After lunch, rest again once uphill, climbing to Takshindo village (3140m). Overnight in Takshindo village.

Today is your last second day to walk for your Everest treks, and after breakfast, walk towards Salleri village. From Taskindo, walk downhill to Ringmo village, where you can enjoy lovely farm terraces and cross the pine forest. Then, you will reach Salleri village, where you will stay overnight.

After a lovely last mountain breakfast, we start driving by jeep or bus back to Kathmandu. It will take 8–9 hours, depending on the traffic jam. It is the same way you are back in Kathmandu, with the same views, and once you enjoy it until you get back to Kathmandu, After your arrival, the hotel checks you into your room, and you are refreshed for the evening. Today is your last day in Kathmandu. We transfer you to the international airport at approx. 3 hours before departure. Today is free or last-minute shopping for souvenirs or gifts for your family, friends, or relatives.
