The Everest Base Camp trek itinerary,2020,2021
The itinerary of the Everest Base Camp trek 14 days always starts with a scenic flight to Lukla, an airport
located just on the ridge of a mountain. After arriving at this spectacular airport we head out to
Phakding our first overnight destination during this amazing trek in Nepal. This incredible village is
located just next to the river is an incredible stop to end our first day on our Everest Base Camp
itinerary. The next day we head more upwards through jungle terrain and into the Sagarmatha National
Park. Some inside knowledge, Sagarmatha is the local word for Everest. After a good day of trekking, we
reach Namche Bazaar, the biggest village of the region, and mostly inhabited by the Sherpas. This
town has a lot to offer from charming restaurants to educational museums. The streets are filled with
unique handicrafts and Himalayan products, truly an incredible place to visit during the Everest Base
Camp trek. Acute Mountain Sickness is no joke and at Nepal Planet Treks we prioritize your safety!
That’s why in this amazing town we hold an acclimatization day to get used to the higher altitudes to
come.

This can be done with a hike up to Everest View Hotel and to the Khumjung village. Although not
all Everest trekking packages cover this visit we can surely make it happen for you! Continuing on with
our Everest Base Camp trek itinerary, it’s time to head to Tengboche, a famous Buddhist Monastery and
a great place to interact with the unique culture of the region! Interacting with the Buddhist monks and
witnessing their harmonious meditation is incredibly inspiring. And not to forgot seeing Mt. Everest.
Ama-Dablam and Lhotse with a hot cup of coffee from the Tengboche Western Bakery can’t get better!
The next day on our Everest Base Camp trek itinerary we head to Dingboche, here we hold also our
second acclimatization day. This day is absolutely amazing with a hike up to Nagarjuna Peak we get
incredible views of Mt. Ama-Dablam, Mt Lhotse, Mt, Makalu, Island Peak, and many more. After a
goodnight’s sleep, we head to Lobuche our last overnight stay before reaching Everest Base Camp.
From Lobuche, it’s a few hours of trekking through rocky terrain until we reach Gorakshep. After
checking in the guest house we can drop off our heavy gear and head straight towards Everest Base

Camp. With the Khumbu Glacier laying below and the high mountains surrounding EBC, the sensation of
reaching this legendary and world-famous place is epic! Unfortunately, the view of Mt Everest is not ideal
from base camp, that’s why the next morning our guide takes you up to Kalapatthar hill from

Acclimatization

To make sure you go back from trekking and hiking trips in the Himalayas in Nepal with a lot of satisfied and unforgettable memories, it’s far essential which you’re aware of the altitude acclimatization required through the human body in mountain situations. Advisable acclimatization is most important in our trekking routes are planned specifically to allow a sluggish gain in altitude with lots of our treks having extra days to permit time for acclimatization. By using slowly gaining height we attain the blessings of a gradual advantage in fitness and acclimatization. We provide advice about acclimatization and with the sensible technique we take all of our treks, anyone who is the suit and healthy must have few issues. On our Trekking and climbing trip in Nepal.

Leader & Staffs Arrangements

We have professional and experienced Leaders who are responsible for tours and treks. They’re the only ones who keep our name and fame of our workplace. We’re proud to have them as our leaders. Leaders lead the excursion and trek in Nepal, Tibet, India, and Bhutan. We have experienced workers who have worked in excessive altitude for a long time with us. Our staffs are loyal, faithful, hardworking and constantly dedicated to their paintings. Our group is continually at the pinnacle. The trek and expedition leaders have passed through the subsequent training:

  • Intensive Wilderness First Aid
  • Trekking Guide Training
  • Eco Trekking Workshop and Adventure Meet
  • English Language
  • mountaineering, mountaineering and mountain climbing (for excursion leaders)

Physical Condition & Experience Requirements\

Fitness is wealth. Last healthful we would have the ability to finish the journey (trek and tour) with none trouble. So, preparation must be completed months ago. Like for Kaila’s journey, we would be heading to over 5620-meter pass. So, for this experience, we should be organized from around 3 months in advance. Like we would need to walk every day. Do normal workout which maintains us healthy at the same time as we are at discipline. Enjoy is a different essential factor. We have to hike to the hill. We should sluggish down our pace. It is right to be blanketed from the wind, rain. Like we should wear down jackets with layers to get protected.
