The inhabitants in Mustang region are recognized as Lo and they stay towards the end of Kaligandaki. Mustang is also an aged Himalayan Kingdom with quite a few biggest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries.  As soon as we reach Jomsom the entrance to Mustang trekking begin. We will walk crossing few outstanding villages and arresting high passes, view the standard of livelihood of the settlers; see the deepest ravine in the world en-route. The fascinating peaks and often changing vista, white rinsed walls of Lo Mangthang are all that adds charisma to Mustang trekking.

When you enter in Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Nepal Planet Treks and Expedition’s airport representative will meet you and finish the formalities (Visa, etc), you have to verify our agent with a exhibit board at the entry gate. You will then move to the hotel. In the late afternoon, you will have a welcome dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant and see a Nepalese cultural program and get pleasure from fine meal. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Today, you will be go around cultural word heritage places in Kathmandu valley which is well-off for its culture as well as temples; the most holy Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath Stupa (monkey temple), the world biggest Stupa, Boudhanath, and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square, and astonishing Kumari extensively known as Living Goddess in Basantapur , Kathmandu. After having breakfast, today we will head off from Kathmandu and drive for around 6 hours to reach Pokhara. You will be passing all the way through mesmerizing view of river and landscape. Then, you will have free afternoon to go around the major attraction, lakeside area or you choose for boating at Fewa Lake and overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Today, in the morning you take a picturesque flight to Jomsom from Pokhara which takes 25 minutes. After you get there in Jomsom you will walk to Kagbeni next to Kaligandaki, the deepest abyss in the world. After walking for around three and half hours, we will reach Kagbeni. Here you can observe the aged houses, a few monasteries, temples etc. Overnight in Kagbeni.

From Kagbeni, we go on walking toward Tsehile in the morning today. The path moves next to the bank of Kaligandaki. We move toward the villages of Tangbe and also Chunksang. And, prior to moving at Tsehile we have to traverse a bridge over Kaligandaki and climb steeply up for approximately 35 minutes to get to Tsehile Village. Overnight at Tsehile.

We go away from Tshehile, we will start our journey to Shyangmochen today. We come crossways through passes like- Taklam La (3240m), Yemdo pass (4000m) and Baga La, Dzong La (3550m). You will be passing by striking communities of Samar, Bhona as well as Yemdo villages. Then we get there at Shyangmochen. Overnight in Shyangmochen.

On this day, we will get ahead of four passes Ghemila (3520m), Shyangmochen La, Nyi or Nya la (4050m) and Tsarang la (3920m). There is a big area in Ghami and going crossways through the community we willsee large chortens along the track and we also come crossways through the big chorten Gate prior to entering Tsarang, another big village in Upper Mustang. The Tsarang is an area containing approximately 50 families or houses. Overnight in Tsarang.

On this day, we depart from Tsarang to Lo-Mangthang, the capital area of Mustang. The wall we can see here which is 300m long and 150m broad has secluded against warriors, robbers and the cruel winds. The small region of Lo-Mangthang is occupied by more than a thousand population whose houses are associated by fine stone lanes. Overnight in Lomanthang.

Today we will have a day rest in Lo-Manthang. We will walk around Lomanthang and visit king’s palace, low caste settlements, monasteries, herbal medical school and so forth. Overnight in Lomanthang.

We go back over our steps from the magnificently walled city, Lomanthang. We will come down from Lomanthang which is actually trouble-free than climbing upward.

Today you will be walking through a large ravine and an extra valley packed with the trees of juniper. After that, you will come across the river near. Also, you will go by along the edge to Shyangmochen, a small inhabited with only some local facilities. On this day, we will go back over from Tsrang to reach Shyangmochen. Overnight in Syangboche.

From Syamboche, our way down ranges from 290m to 1100m. We will trek for about 6 to 7 hours and make way back to Chuksang and constantly move trek down to arrive at Chuksang. There is a long drop on this day. Overnight at Chuksang.

Today, moving ahead from Chuksang, our trail descends down the vale turning it to be swift. We discontinue at Kagbeni for lunch and stay for the night in Kagbeni.

After breakfast, we will have a moderately short walk to arrive at Jomsom (2700m). You can take pleasure in from flavorsome apple brandy, dried apple sweets, apple wine, etc. which are well-known items of Jomsom. Overnight in Jomsom.

The flights to Pokhara takes off in morning only as the strong wind blows in the day time which makes the flights difficult to operate, so we have to get ready early and arrange for trip to Pokhara. We can enjoy going around the major attractions of the Pokhara for the rest of the day.. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

We today we will take flight from Pokhara and fly over the arresting peak range flanked by the gorge of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Today is free day on your own in Kathmandu. We need have one extra day as reserve since there is a chance of flight cancel and delay. You can go around for sightseeing to major places in Kathmandu if any remaining. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Our journey ends on the 18th day. Our representative will guide you to the airport and present farewell greetings.

Physical Condition & Experience Requirements

Fitness is wealth. Last healthful we would have the ability to finish the journey (trek and tour) with none trouble. So, preparation must be completed months ago. Like for Kailas journey we would be heading to over 5620 meter pass. So, for this experience we should be organized from around 3 months in advance.Like we would need to walk every day. Equipments & Packing List
